火车票可以在异地上车。1、旅客不能按票面指定的日期、车次乘车时，在不延长客票有效期的前提下，可以在开车前办理一次提前或改晚乘车签证手续，团体旅客必须在开车48小时以前办理。往返票、联程票、卧铺票不办理改签。 2、旅客可要求变更高于原票等级的列车或铺位、座席。办理时核收变更的票价差额，核收手续费，不足起码里程按起码里程计算。变更低于原票等级的列车、铺位、座席时不予办理。旅客中途自行变更低于原票等级的列车、铺位、座席时，票价差额部分不予退还。

第三十条 旅客须按票面载明的日期、车次、席别乘车，并在票面规定有效期内到达到站。旅客如在票面指定的日期、车次于中途站上车时，未乘区间票价不退。旅客可在列车中途停车站下车，也可在车票有效期间恢复旅行，但中途下车后，卧铺票即行失效。中转换车和中途下车旅客继续旅行时，应先行到车站办理车票签证手续。持直通票的旅客在中转站要求换乘动车组列车时，补收该区间的动车组列车票价与原票票价差额。

第三十一条 旅客在乘车途中客票有效期终了，要求继续乘车时，应自有效期终了站或最近前方停车站起，另行补票，核收手续费，定期票可按有效使用至到站。
