Model Farms is a local, comprehensive and proudly public high school serving all families within its community. We remain committed to our mission: 'Caring and Educating for the Future'. The school has a strong sense of community, both our community within and our ties with the local community. A strong spirit of inclusiveness is evident. Each child is valued and their individual differences respected. By setting high expectations of effort, behaviour and uniform we seek to enable all children to achieve their academic potential and to develop into respo nsible and caring citizens.Our parents are proud of their school and we have devoted much time and energy to supporting its programs.

The P&C is an im portant part of school life - providing a valuable l ink between parents, citizens and school staff. Our P&C motto is Co nnecting Parents & Citizens with Our School. One way this is achieved is through our mo nthly meetings which provide a forum to learn a bout and discuss issues affecting the education of school students.

P&C periodically hosts Topic Talks on various aspects of the school curriculum and school life. Topic Talks provide an excellent opportunity for parents to gain a greater understanding of the subject and ask the questions they feel most im portant in relation to their child's education.

The P&C raises mo ney through several activities. Our uniform shop supports the school's uniform policy and also raises significant funds which are used to improve school resources and facilities such as the purchase of textbooks and the extension of air co nditioning to classrooms. Our happy volunteers are waiting to serve you - why not join them!

Each May, the P&C holds its main fund raiser, a Trivia Night which, apart from being heaps of fun, raises mo ney for projects such as fitting out the new school hall.

Whether you are a keen fund raiser or simply want to know more a bout what is going on in your school please join us at our regular meetings on the first Wednesday in the mo nth (during school terms) at 7:00pm.
