EFTS stands for Equivalent Full Time Student.This is the measure by which all tertiary education providers report student enrolments to the New Zealand government.The EFTS value of a paper indicates what proportion of a normal full-time programme of study the particular paper makes up. Most universities in NZ have a 360 point undergraduate degree structure with 15 point courses at all levels equating to 0.125 EFTS.
