Sample answer:
I always have a dream to visit Alaska in Winter to see the Polar light once. Alaska, where is famous for natural scenery,is the largest state in United States by area.It is situated in the northwest extremity of North America. The temperature there mostly remains below zero degree Celsius, which leads to the fact that the majority parts of state are usually covrered by snow.I wish I can travel to Alaska during the future Winter break even though it would be the coldest period in a year, because to see a real aurora will be one of the best moments in my life.
In order to accomplish this trip,it is necessary to have enough preparations, especially for self-protection,like preparing enough clothes to stay warm and learning self-salvation when accidents happened. The best partner I can think of would be my girlfriend. It would be a fantastic experience to memorize for both of us. Imaging that together we traveled such North to see such magnificent landscapes with our lovers, nothing can be better than this.
Every time I saw aurora was either pictures in magazines or geographic channels on TV,I long for seeing and standing in front of polar light once for telling myself "Oh my god,I see it for real". It is something that human cannot create and normal people cannot see often. It is magic that nature performs. On the other hand,Alaska is a perfect place to enjoy the winter, the snow, the mountains, the forest, and everything together become the wonderful landscapes.
雅思口语Part2答案:假期
In most of my holidays I go to visit my family members in my hometown. For my job, I am currently residing in the capital city of my country but my parents, siblings, grandparents, uncle and aunts are living in our hometown. So in most of my holidays I go to visit my family members. My typical holidays last for 4-5 days most of the time and sometimes I get longer holidays.
When I was a university student, I had some friends studying in the same faculty who were from my hometown. During my university study we used to go to our hometown together on our vacations but now-a-days I go to my hometown mostly alone. The journey takes about 6-7 hours by bus. Sometimes we travel by train and this train journeys usually take 8-9 hours including the stoppage. Though the journey is tiresome sometimes, but the thought of meeting my family members and the excitement of being in the place I really love wash away the tiresomeness and monotonous feeling of the journey.
The time I stay with my family members and local friends, I enjoy the moments very much. This is the town where I grew up and naturally all of my childhood & adolescence memories are related to this place. I do lots of interesting things there during my holidays: I swim in the river, take care of the garden and firm we have, collect vegetables and fruits from our garden and then make arrangement to sell those to the local sellers, sometime I catch fished, play with my friends both indoor and outdoor games, visit different places and do lots of other stuffs.
In my city life, I have to follow a strict timeline and stay at office most of the time, but in my hometown where I mostly go during my holidays, I am quite free and do whatever I feel like doing and spend time with the people I care most. That's why I prefer to go to my hometown during my holidays rather than going to other places.
雅思口语范文素材:生活中的变化
Tell me about a great change that occurred at some point in your life
You should say:
What the change was and when it happened
If it was special for you or usual for all people
How it has changed your life
And please explain your feelings about it.
Honestly I haven’t thought about this much. The one and only great change I can think of now is leaving school. Look, after going to school for more than 16 years, all of my life has been so used to school, my daily schedule, my mindset, my social life, etc. The world outside the school seems so familiar and yet so strange. My feelings are mixed with ambition, hope, expectation, as well as uneasiness, insecurity and worries. It is such a difficult time. I am like a person lost in the no-man’s land, not knowing where to turn. Anyway, most people have to face this change once they leave school. It is a total challenge. But just as one great mind has once said, “life is always full of changes and uncertainties; we just do all that we can and hope for the best.”
雅思口语翻译:人生当中充满了变化和不确定,如:上大学,然后毕业离开学校步入社会,或者首次离开自己的家庭,初次参与工作,结婚,生子等等。但是人生总要在这些变化中寻找出路,开创辉煌(change is just a path into another phase of life; one needs not only to get used to it, but also make use of it)。
What are some important changes that people generally have?
As far as I know it, graduation from college, joining the workforce, marriage and the birth of the child all are very important changes that most people would have to go through at certain time of their life.
How can family and society help young people to cope with changes?
It will be of great help for one’s family to stand together with him or her and give support along with suggestions in times of need.
雅思口语出色范文:职业的选择
Parents generally believe it is their responsibility to plan the careers for their children. They claim that they know their children well enough to decide what kind of job suits them. Hoping that their children will go in for professions that will bring them the greatest prestige and economic benefit, many parents think that their children are too young to see this for themselves. There are some parents who even expect their children to take over the careers of their fathers. For these reasons, many parents insist that their children should obey them in choosing careers.
But many children suggest that they should be left free to choose their own careers. For one thing, parents and children may not share the same interest. A job that appeals is likely to be boring for their children. For another, children have been brought up in a different age from their parents', and therefore, should be allowed to cultivate a spirit of independence and self-reliance. In short, children should be free to make their own decisions as to future careers.
In my opinion, in this case as in many other things, mutual understanding is important. On the one hand, parents' view does reflect their concern for the well-being of their children. On the other hand, after all it is the children who will be doing the jobs. Therefore, it will be wise for parents to give them this freedom while for the children they should consult their parents when it is necessary.
