ApA格式是留学生论文写作中常用的一种格式，ApA 7th是ApA 6th的更新版，也是目前使用最多的版本。第七版ApA格式相较于第六版，做了一些更细致的改变和细化要求。关于两个版本的区别，我们会在下面的文章里介绍。

一、文内参考引用

有3位及以上作者来源的引文中的作者数目

1.第六版：第一次引用中给出所有作者姓名，所有后续引用只给第一个作者的姓名，后面加上“等人”即可。6位及以上作者来源，所有引文都只有第一作者姓名，后加“等人”。

3~5位作者：

(Gries,Jungblut,Krieger,& Meyer,2019)

(Gries et al.,2019)

6位及以上作者：

(Simpson et al.,2020)

2.第七版：之歌出第一作者姓名，后加“等人”。

二、文末参考文献引用

(一)作者人数

1.第六版：要求注明姓氏和首字母多达7位作者

(四)DOI格式

1.第六版：DOI已给出格式为“doi：xxxxx”，即只显示标识符和字母数字值

以上就是ApA 7th和ApA 6th在参考文献引用方面的不同点，至于格式是否能够替换，具体需要看学校或者导师对你论文格式的要求。正常来说，使用一种格式，就固定一个版本就OK。
