商业分析专业大解析 开篇第一集就说明唐晶职场白骨精的性质，雷厉风行，每天做各种大数据分析并且为企业做决策，那如何成为一名商业分析人才呢？

首先我们了解一下商业分析。商业分析专业是近年美国新开设的专业，位于美国首府华盛顿DC的乔治华盛顿大学，在2014年开设此专业。南加州大学也是在2014年首次招生Business Analytics专业，麻省理工大学Sloan商学院在16年秋季开始招生第一批学生。

US News目前并没有细化Business Analytics的专业排名，但随着百度、阿里、腾讯、网易等互联网越来越渗入到我们生活中的每一个环节，商业分析专业再次被很多想要出国读书的学子们关注。

什么是商业分析专业呢？

目前，Business Analytics被定义为STEM专业，对于国际留学生在美国找工作也是一大优势。STEM专业是美国政府为了吸引人才，鼓励学生主修科学、技术、工程和数学领域，并不断加大科学、技术、工程和数学教育的投入，培养学生的科技理工素养，从而提升其全球竞争力。

留学生毕业之后想找工作就要申请OpT(Optional practical Training)，有了OpT才可以在美国合法实习、工作。标准的OpT只有一年时间，如果毕业生一年之内无法拿到h1B工作签证，就必须离开美国了。但是STEM专业的毕业生可以申请额外24个月的OpT延期(美国国土安全部发布的有关于“STEM专业OpT延期的最终政策”的文件已于2016年5月10日正式生效！)，等同于他们将拥有总共36个月的OpT时间用来找工作并申请h1B工作签证。

真心说，是不是被诱惑到啦？立志学习Business Analytics专业的学生，立志在研究生阶段跨专业学习的学生，提前规划好自己在大学四年的课程学习很必要。Business Analytics专业通常设置在商学院，比如：麻省理工大学设置在Sloan商学院、伦斯勒理工学院设置在Lally商学院。也有部分大学例外，比如康奈尔大学设置在Engineering学院，芝加哥大学设置在MBA课程里面。部分大学也会明确先修课要求，下文是乔治华盛顿大学针对Business Analytics专业的先修课要求（prerequisites）： Successful applicants to GWSB’s MSBA program will have exposure an experience in the following areas:

• Statistics 统计

Applicants shoul have taken an obtaine a B or higher in an unergrauate or grauate statistics within the last 5 years,be able to emonstrate regular use of statistics in a current or past professional position,or be able to emonstrate an aequate unerstaning of statistics in another way.

• Higher Level Mathematics (Calculus an Linear Algebra) 微积分&线性代数

Applicants shoul have taken an obtaine a B or higher in unergrauate or grauate level Calculus classes,incluing Calculus I (MATh1231) an Calculus II (equivalent to MATh1232). In aition,stuents are expecte to have ha some acaemic exposure to topics in Linear Algebra an Finite Math (equivalent to MATh1051).

• Computer programming 计算机编程

Applicants shoul be able to emonstrate aequate exposure to an unerstaning of basic computer programming an software principles. Applicants nee not have a specific unerstaning of analytics-base computer programs an software. Instea,the goal is for applicants to emonstrate that they are capable of learning the specific programs emphasize in the MSBA program.
