2. 直接理解题

问题含义：划线句子或其他指定文中句子的含义是什么？

常见问法：

答题技巧: 使用“一指”原则，即答案通常都在问题上下不超过一指的位置。

3.策略分析题

问题含义：作者写某一句话或某一段的用意是什么？或为什么这一段要放在文中这个位置？

答题技巧: 要么是总结上文，要么是承上启下，或者引出下文。

答题技巧: SAT对此类题的答案设置非常保守，并且通常都有文字佐证。

问题含义：根据文中A与B的关系推断选项中X与Y的关系

常见问法：

答题技巧: 首先，明确文中提到的A和B的“关系”，然后明确选项中的对比对象的关系。

比如，Say that in the passage a physicist criticizes the work of a painter. （在这里提到的关系是A——"物理学家"和"B"——画家的作品，二者是不同领域的。）

答题技巧: 首先问问自己对这篇文章的态度是“negative”,“positive”,“neutral” 还是ambivalent，然后对这几种态度的强烈程度打分。这种方式通常可以帮你排除掉2-3个答案。

8.词意分析题

问题含义：某单词的含义是什么？

常见问法：

答题技巧: 1. 通常这个单词不是生僻词，但是考察的应该不会是你熟悉的含义，即考察“熟词僻意”。所以以此可以排除掉一些明显的错误选项。

如，考察的是“striking”，它的常用含义是“击打”那你可以首先把“hitting”，而选项中的“noticeable”（引人注目的）有可能是正确答案。
