弗吉尼亚大学（University of Virginia），简称UVa，又译维吉尼亚大学，是由美国第三任总统托马斯·杰斐逊于1819年创建的美国历史上首个独立于教会的高校，是美国最顶尖、世界最著名公立大学之一，在学术界享有盛誉。在2018 U.S.News中，排名全美第25名，世界第107名。在2019年QS世界大学排名位居第192位。

弗吉尼亚大学为最初的8所“公立常春藤”成员之一，25所“新常春藤”成员之一，也是北美地区唯一被联合国教科文组织列为是世界遗产的高等院校。自U.S.News开始颁布全美大学排名以来，弗吉尼亚大学始终名列全美最佳公立大学的第一或第二名，与加利福尼亚大学伯克利分校齐名；同时稳居全美25所最佳综合性大学之列。该校在全美公立大学中排名第二，被美国著名的财经杂志《Kiplinger》和《普林斯顿评论》（The Princeton Review）等权威评价机构连续多年评为“美国性价比最高的大学”，其知名校友中包含两位美国总统及众多知名跨国集团公司创始人或CEO。
